Friday in Barcelona

Friday was a bit more relaxed, which was good because I was tired from all of our touring on Thursday! First we rode (on our charter bus named Esteve) through Monjuic, a section of Barcelona, and passed the Olympic Village. We also got out and looked at the Olympic Stadium for about 10 minutes. Next, we saw the Cathedral of Barcelona, which is very gothic-looking and walked through an old neighborhood in the city. My favorite part of the day, and one of my favorite places in general, was "El Palau de la Música." It is a beautiful music hall, where I would absolutely love to see a concert. The afternoon was free time, and I walked around the city a bit and also did some "shopping," but of course did not buy anything.
