Funny Moments

The other day at dinner my mama was talking a bit about her Calvin student from last semester. Apparently, at some point they had taught each other the sound a chicken makes. "In Spanish," my mama said, "a chicken says, "Kee-kee-kee." (or something like that...I'm not sure how to write it in English.) "But in English It's cooble dooble doo." It was soo funny to hear her different impressions of "cocklle-doodle-doo." She asks me to tell her the right way to say it all the time now, and cracks up every time I tell her, because she thinks it sounds so funny."

When I packed to come here, I originally had way too much stuff. So I had worked on taking things out. When I got here, I realized that I had taken out everything for cold weather. So, I wear the same fleece every day in my freezing house. Last week, my mama told me that when I went to Valencia on Sat., she would wash my fleece for me. I guess she had noticed that I am basically living in it. :)
