TV

One cultural difference I have noticed is TV. It is always on here--especially during meals. I turned the TV off once when I left the living room, just out of habit mostly. My mama hadn't been in the room, but she was surprised to find the TV off when she returned later and asked me later why I had turned it off. After growing up without TV, having it on constantly is different.
